Firstly I'd like to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Krysinta, the founder of 'Beyond The Mane'. I'm a Brisbane based Hairstylist and Makeup Artist of 9 years and have also dappled into Cosmetic Tattooing (specifically brows). Although I offer a wide range of services to my clientele, I pride myself on my fine attention to detail and also believe customer experience is paramount.

 

In October 2010 I started my hairdressing apprenticeship at Mecca Hair, a small boutique salon in Wooloowin, which is also one of very few selected Intercoiffure salons and went on to complete my certificate 3 in hairdressing through Matter's in Gray in July 2014. During this time, I also gained my certificate in hair extensions, which certify me in tapes, keratin bonds, glue bonds and micro beads. I also had the opportunity in entering myself into Hair Expo and Intercoiffure photoshoot competitions where I worked backstage on models, styling and creating unusual yet glamourous looks.

 

Right after completing my Hairdressing Apprenticeship, I then went on to start my own freelance hairdressing business. Through advertisement and word of mouth my clientele grew and I found myself not only doing colours and cuts, but also dressing hair for the beautiful brides and formal girls on their special day. Passionate about all things beauty and constantly being inspired by many others around me I then decided it was time to grow my skills in the beauty industry; and what better way to add to my services then completing a course in Makeup Artistry.

 

In March 2015, I enrolled myself into the National Academy of Beauty to complete a Diploma in Specialised Makeup Services. I gained knowledge in every day makeup application, glamourous makeup, lashes, contouring and highlighting, airbrush, latex, drag makeup and much more.

For many years I have continuously enjoyed providing clients with all their hair needs. But as the industry constantly evolves, so do I and my passion to successfully deliver quality of work and services of desire. So the start of 2019 I enrolled myself into my microblading course and instantly knew this was want I wanted to do. I love hairdressing but my passions for beauty doesn't stop there. I'm excited to grow in areas of education for myself and my business.
